ASIAD TOWER
Based on our ability and experience, Govt of India, had entrusted their two high end properties namely ASIAD TOWER BANQUET & RESTAURANT COMPLEX, built during ASIAN GAMES 1982, alongwith 4.7 acres of prime land in South Delhi at Khelgaon and
53 meter high, three tiered, revolving restaurant & bar. This prime property, was leased to JHANKAR HOTELS for 30 years, by Delhi Development Authority in 1997. This resort was initially run by M/s. Chatwal Group from 1984 to 1989 and then this resort was alloted to Jhankar Hotels on its highest bid of Rs. 28.5 crores (285 million INR). This beautifully landscape resort, spread in four lawns is considered as an island of peace and tranquility in the heart of South Delhi. Banqueting concept was successfully launched and started by JHANKAR about two and half decades in India and doing best of the sales turnover as on date. The big sized Asiad Tower, New Delhi can accomodate around 8,000 people at one time.
There are five venues for different functions as called :
Orchard Courts - aesthetically landscaped, this lawn is surrounded by a water fountain. An ideal place for corporate events, wedding and receptions with 10,000 sq feet covered area.
Tropical Forest - gathered in the middle of mountains with the memory of “Mughal” period. Suited for forest or any other themes, cocktails etc.
Village Lawn - most suitable AC hall for themes, seminar, product launch and corporate presentation .
Victoria Valley - with beautiful silver cascade flowing along two long and high walls, this lawn is an ideal setting for large gatherings or parties which individually can take big wedding ceremony, social get-together, re-union dinner etc.
Tower Hall - A beautiful semi circular Banquet Hall for cozy parties, conferences & pre wedding functions.
JHANKAR GARDEN
Jhankar Hotels has immense pleasure in introducing its new venture THE JHANKAR GARDEN located at prime M.G. Road. Just 6 minutes drive from Andheria More and a stone throw distance from DLF City - “FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD”.
Spread over 8 acres of lush green pastures it produces the perfect ambience of your choice and has three spacious lawns at your service.
Most special feature of Jhankar Garden is approximately 20,000 sq ft pillarless aircondition hanger - an ideal setting for large conferences, symposiums, fashion shows, seminars, product lauches or social events. The combination of hanger and gardens can be utilised for mega events.
